Preclinical Assistant Engineer or Study Engineer (F/M)

Institut Curie is a major player in cancer research and the fight against the disease. It’s made up of a hospital and a research center with a staff of over 1000 and a strong international presence.
The goal of the Institut Curie Research Center is to advance basic research and apply the resulting knowledge to improve cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment, within the continuum linking basic research to innovation for the benefit of patients.
Laboratory - Service
The Preclinical Investigation Laboratory (LIP) has more than 20 years of experience working with PDX models and is actively involved in molecular and experimental pharmacology. The LIP creates a space where clinicians can collaborate with biologists working on basic research questions and pharmaceutical partners. The LIP is affiliated with the Translational Research Department and the platform is also a member of the EuroPDX European consortium which aims to share patient derived xenografts for collaborative research projects and multicentre preclinical trials.
The selected candidate will be in charge of in vivo experiments.

Missions
- Participate in pharmacology experiments: carry out grafts, treatments, animal monitoring, organ collection, freezing, saving and archiving data from experiments and formatting of data from experiments for presentation
- Application of regulations related to the use of animals for scientific purposes
- Participation in communal lab tasks
Training and experience
- Bac+3 to Bac+5
- Specific animal experimentation training (level 1 Project Designer or 2 Practitioner)
Required skills and qualities
- You’re dynamic and wish to participate in in vivo LIP experiments
- You have a strong sense of teamwork, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- You are proficient in scientific and office software tools.
- English is an asset, but not required

Salary : from 27504€ to 29240€ /year according to current salary scales
